Greetings!
Our county is making good progress toward reopening, having moved into the red tier and progressing steadily with vaccinations as supplies are made available. If we continue this progress, and continue safe practices including wearing masks, hopefully we’ll move soon into the orange tier. Please continue your support of local businesses during this time!
Tomorrow the City Council will be holding its annual goal-setting session to review and discuss priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, July 2021 through June 2022. Today’s City Council special meeting is focused on governance training and relationship development amongst Councilmembers, the City Manager, and the City Attorney. As part of tomorrow’s session, I will be summarizing the status of the many current priorities underway (see this agenda report for the written summary). Much progress has been made on the City’s robust list of priorities, with much more progress to come, and I remain honored to work in Pacifica on so many great causes under the City Council’s leadership and with such a hard-working and dedicated City workforce. You’re encouraged to attend these meetings to hear what’s happening and to offer your input if you’d like.
Sincerely,
KEVIN WOODHOUSE
City Manager

Give Feedback on the
Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
|
|
The City and County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) is updating its Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. The Plan presents a new vision, a set of detailed goals and objectives, and strategies for prioritizing walking and bicycling projects in San Mateo County. C/CAG strives to promote network connectivity, improve access to schools and transit, increase roadway safety and comfort for bicyclists and pedestrians, and provide equitable levels of access to affordable and reliable transportation options. To make sure the updated Plan reflects the needs of community members, we need your input!
The Draft Plan is currently available for public review via the website, or via the project website bikewalkccag.com. There you will be able to download the Plan and find ways to provide feedback.
