A Positive Path for Spiritual Living
Creating a Space for Light with Thomas DeSchutter
Meditation the Unity Way
What is meditation? What opportunities does meditation open up for us? Is there an easy way to meditate? In this talk, Thomas will look at Unity’s Five Step Prayer process with a focus on how meditation serves us.

Thomas DeSchutter is a financial advisor, husband, father of two and a Unity Ministerial student. He lives in Nanaimo and attends Unity Nanaimo.

Dear Friend in Unity

One of the five impact areas for Unity Victoria is "Growing Unity Worldwide." This recognizes that our ministry is part of a greater worldwide spiritual movement known as Unity. As such, we engage in actions like tithing to Unity Canada, attending the annual conference, sharing with other ministries our best practises, serving on teams (e.g. Unity Canada Board) and supporting those committed to becoming a Unity credentialed leader.

One such individual is Thomas DeSchutter, our guest speaker this Sunday. Thomas is just completing his second semester of Unity Ministerial studies . An important aspect of training to become a minister is to be given opportunities for practical application.

I'm thrilled that Thomas is close by in Nanaimo so that Unity Victoria can support him in developing his already strong speaking skills. He will also be guest speaking several times in April and May while I'm on sabbatical.

Be sure to come Sunday and receive. Thomas is an emerging bright light within the Unity movement and we shall be grateful to say 'we knew him when...'

In gratitude and service,
Rev. Roxanne
