Happy March!!!
Welcome to the month of March, where the weather is starting to warm up, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and we can look forward to longer days and more sunlight! This month is the start of spring, bringing with it a sense of renewal and rejuvenation.
March 8th is celebrated as International Women's Day, a day to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of women throughout history. March is also recognized as Women's History Month, a time to honor the vital role that women have played in shaping our society and culture. It's a great opportunity to learn about the accomplishments of women throughout history and to reflect on the progress we've made towards gender equality. The Shafer Team is woman owned and proud to support so many successful career women!
It's also a great time to get outside and enjoy the changing weather. With longer days and warmer temperatures, it's the perfect time to take a hike, have a picnic, or just enjoy the beauty of nature.
So, let's welcome the month of March with open arms, and look forward to all the new beginnings and opportunities that it brings!

Happy March!
It has been a long winter, but spring is almost here. With spring, comes spring break! So this month, I am going to list a few fun things to do during your spring break.
Our first option is the Dinosaur Journey Museum, located at 550 Jurassic Ct Fruita, Colorado. Get a blast from the past by visiting with our extinct friends, the dinosaurs. There are many activities to experiment with to give you a deeper understanding of the Jurassic period. This museum is so much fun for kids and is educational so it makes a perfect place to visit over spring break.
Another option is the Fruita Community Center located at 324 N Coulson St Fruita. The Community Center features a gym, daycare center, basketball courts, library, and of course, an indoor (and outdoor for when it is warmer) pool. For young and old, the Fruita Community Center has something for everybody! It is a super cool place to hang out and would be another fun alternative for spring break.
After a long day, why not order food at one of Fruita’s best restaurants, The Hot Tomato located at 124 N Mulberry Street. This restaurant has pizza, calzones, and salad which are all delicious. This is a perfect place to eat and I would definitely recommend it, especially after a long day of exploring the community center and/or the dinosaur museum.
I am so excited for spring break and I know you all probably are too. Be sure to check out one of these awesome places in Fruita, you won’t regret it!
