Partnership with our parents is a key factor in the success of our students. To support this we have created the IA Parent Partnership Series. This monthly, 3 part series is a wonderful opportunity for you to engage with the community, get to know other parents, and work closer together with IA Staff for the benefit of your child. We do ask that both parents attend all three sessions. We have scheduled them on alternative nights to fit busy schedules. Full participation in the series will allow us to partner more fully and will be a primary factor in determining next years scholarship allocations.
 
The series is offered on two different evenings for you to choose from. Choose from our Monday or our Thursday track.

Monday Track: September 16th, October 14 th , November 11 th 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Thursday Track: September 19th, October 17 th , November 14 th 6.00pm – 8.00pm

This is a parent-only event. Childcare is not provided. A Potluck dinner will begin promptly 6:00pm. RSVP for your Track of choice and Potluck item by simply clicking on the link below.
"See You At The Pole" 2019
See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September. On September 25th, IA students will meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God.

Please join our IA community for this nation-wide event on September 25th at 7:45am.

IA Students Learn Financial Responsibility!
Everyone wishes they knew what they know now when they were young. Inspiration Academy wants our students to have wisdom now, too. That's why our Juniors and Seniors are embarking on a journey through Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Personal Finance during Jr/Sr Seminar. Ask your Junior or Senior what their financial goals are and why a budget will help them achieve it!

Tennis Academy
Player Highlights
Brooklyn Olson
  • Achieved a highest career ITF junior ranking of 857 in the world at 13 years old.
  • Reached the finals of an ITF G4 tournament in Jamaica in just her third ever tournament.
  • Won the Bobby Curtis Level 3 USTA in Florida in the U16 age group.
  • Finalist in the USTA Under 14 National Hard Court Championships in just her first year in the age group.
  • Silver ball winner

Mary Brumfield
  • Mary has participated in 3 ITF tournaments.
  • Her last two tournaments G3 ITFs in The Dominican Republic. She made the semifinals of the first and the quarterfinals of the second.
  • Mary has beaten 6 quality players including 2 top 300 juniors and 1 top 200 player. In doing so achieved a new career-high ITF junior ranking of 654.
  • Mary placed 4th in the USTA College combine this summer.

Sophia Camila Rojas
  • This summer Sofia has done very well on the ITF tour.
  • She started out in a G4 in Guatemala where she made the semifinals in singles and the won the doubles draw.
  • Then she moved to Aruba to play the G4 there where she was the eventual winner of the competition and a semifinalist in doubles with Inspiration Academy teammate Brooklyn Olson.
  • Sofia then participated in a G3 in The Dominican Republic where she lost in the final of doubles.
  • The 16-year-old is now ranked 335 in the ITF junior world rankings and making her way up.

  • Competed in the boys U12
  • Won 4 matches out of 6
Carter Olson
  • Won 3 out of 5 matches.
  • Champion of the boys under 14 doubles.
Ana Benson
  • Competed in the girls U12.
  • Won 5 matches in singles and finished 5th overall.
Leilany Sanchez
  • Won 4 matches out of 5.
  • Finished 5th in girls U14 singles.
  • Seimfinalist in doubles.
Valeria Sanchez
  • Finished 6th in U14 Girls singles.
  • Won 3 out of 5 matches.
  • Semifinalist in doubles.
Hayley Roberts
  • Won 3 matches.
  • Champion of girls U14 doubles.
  • Hayley finished 4th overall in her age group.

Baseball Academy
In an effort to provide the highest quality in nutrition to our students, Inspiration Academy has partnered with Power Meals by Dawn. 

“We see how hard our kids are working in the weight room and on the playing field,” said baseball director Mario Jimenez. “We wanted to provide them with the best nutritional options to take full advantage of all that hard work they are putting in.”

Power Meals will begin by providing a lunch option for all the middle and high school students during the 2019-20 school year. Our post graduate students will have the opportunity to order breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Power Meals By Dawn opened for business at their Palmetto location July 2018. Dawn is excited about providing this opportunity to school age kids to transform their lifestyles.

“Our passion is offering a menu that is full of flavor and not your typical ‘diet’ food. Healthier eating habits are crucial to athletic performance. Food is in fact fuel for your body. This is why I am so excited to partner with Inspiration Academy to see how this can transform their game.”

Inspiration Academy Lions Booster Club is proud to present our 4th Annual Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser Friday, October 18, 2019.  Our 2018 event raised enough money to qualify for a Pittsburgh Pirates matching grant to install new bull pens this year. We funded Inspiration Academy club sports for golf, flag football, soccer and Lacrosse. The boosters also paid for the hotel rooms for our baseball team to attend the state tournament which we won for the second year in a row.  As always Monte Carlo Night also funds our end of the year tennis and baseball banquets. Once again, our event will be held at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, 7051 Wireless Court, Sarasota 34240.   Please consider a donation to our biggest athletic fundraiser of the year!

Dear Community,

 We hope that everyone is settling nicely into the new school year. We were thrilled with the amount of volunteer sign-ups from our Back to School Nights. Pride is excited to announce that this year we will have Room Parents for each grade to help communicate and execute several fun filled events this year. You will receive follow up information about each event and an email introduction from your room parent in the near future.

Please join us at our next Parents Pride meeting on Friday, September 13th at 8:15am. Claire Speir will be in attendance to give school updates and answer any questions that you may have. We will also go over Monte Carlo Night and Homecoming Week needs.
