Greetings!
The Republican Party of Los Angeles County met on Saturday, January 11th. As a part of this meeting, our members heard from Mike Garcia and former Congressman Steve Knight, the two active Republican candidates for the 25th Congressional District Special Election. This election will be held to coincide with the March 3rd Presidential Primary Election. Until recently, this seat was held by Democrat Katie Hill who resigned in disgrace. Supporting, endorsing, and working hard to elect Republican candidates is crucial during this important election year. Our members respect and appreciate the experience, integrity, and determination of both candidates. Still, after listening to the candidates, members voted by over a 2/3rds vote to
endorse Mike Garcia for Congress
in the upcoming Special Election. As was stated at the meeting, "Mike is a fighter and a natural leader who is committed to serving his community and will represent us well in Washington, D.C."
This is a seat that was preciously held for many years by solid Republicans. Of all the races in Southern California, this may be the most winnable seat and one we absolutely want to turn
RED
again.
