Greetings!
A reminder related to the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election that there are two external ballot drop boxes located in Pacifica for voters to securely deposit their vote-by-mail ballots. One is at the entrance to the Pacifica Community Center at 540 Crespi Drive and one at the former Pacifica City Hall at 170 Santa Maria Avenue. The two drop boxes are now open to receive your ballot, and are serviced directly by the San Mateo County Elections Office. See additional information below.
Over the past couple weeks the City has completed the transition of Civic Center employees and services to the Community Center. This includes Planning and Building, Finance, Human Resources, Parks, Beaches, and Recreation, City Clerk and City Manager offices. Although we’re still settling into this temporary location, starting Monday, August 16, the Community Center/Civic Center will be open to the public. Face coverings are required. We look forward to welcoming you at this new temporary location while the Civic Center Campus Facilities Project is undertaken.
Enjoy your weekend!
Sincerely,
Kevin Woodhouse
City Manager

Please Dechlorinate Your Pools Before Draining
|
|
Water from swimming pools and spas often contain high levels of chlorine. Discharging chlorinated pool or spa water into streams, (or irrigation canals, ponds, etc.) is harmful to fish and other aquatic life. It is illegal to send chlorinated water from pools and spas into the sanitary sewer or storm drain system. The chlorinated water must be dechlorinated before sending it to the sanitary sewer system. It is also important to notify your local wastewater service provider and receive authorization before discharge.
Read more information on proper disposal of chlorinated water from pools and spas.

Oversized Vehicle Parking Lists and Map
|
|
The City of Pacifica has installed OSV (Oversized Vehicle) parking restriction signs throughout the City based on an engineering safety review, which determined where OSVs could park in the City without impacting the safety of roadway users. These signs are located at roadway entrances into the City, entrances to specific neighborhoods and along stretches of specific City roadway. Many streets where OSVs cannot park without impacting driver safety have sign restrictions in place; however, not every prohibited street has signage.
