Two weeks from today is #GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, we hope you will be inspired to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Nonprofits in over 80 countries will be pursuing donations on November 29, so this year we'd like to do something a little different. Santa Maria would be grateful for your donation, which can be made here, but we'd also like to ask an extra special favor this year.
If you are on Facebook and/or Instagram, would you please create a fundraiser asking your friends and family to make a donation to Santa Maria?
We produced two how-to videos (below). The first shows you, step-by-step, how to create a Facebook fundraiser for Santa Maria on a computer or mobile device (or if you prefer, there are written instructions here). The second video does the same for Instagram, however those can only be done through a mobile device, not on a computer.
When you raise money for Santa Maria, you're helping Isaac get his GED. You're helping Jon get financial coaching. You're helping little Alan gain early childhood development skills and ensuring that Khadida is kindergarten-ready.
