Greetings!
Earlier this week, the San Mateo County Health Office announced that face coverings are now required when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. With cases of the COVID-19 Delta variant on the rise, wearing a mask, especially when in close proximity to others, is imperative to slowing down the spread. You can read more about the Health Order, below. If you are interested in getting vaccinated, please visit myturn.ca.gov.
I encourage you to read and comment on the Draft Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, 2021 Multijurisdictional LHMP for short. The LHMP addresses natural hazards such as fires and earthquakes. Since March, the City of Pacifica has worked with partners across the county to update the LHMP. Read more about the LHMP below including information about commenting on the draft plan at an upcoming virtual workshop.
Lastly, City staff has begun the process of moving from the Civic Center at 170 Santa Maria to the Community Center on Crespi Drive. Unless Health Orders prohibit it, we anticipate opening up the Community Center to the public later this month. All of the Civic Center Services, along with Senior Services, will now be a one-stop shop at the Community Center while the Civic Center Campus Facilities Project is underway. We look forward to offering in-person services again. Thank you so much for your patience during this transition period.
As a reminder, if you need services such as applying for a building permit or getting a business license, you can always access these services along with other online services via Virtual City Hall.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Tina Wehrmeister
Assistant City Manager/Planning Director

Oversized Vehicle Parking Lists and Map
|
|
The City of Pacifica has installed OSV (Oversized Vehicle) parking restriction signs throughout the City based on an engineering safety review, which determined where OSVs could park in the City without impacting the safety of roadway users. These signs are located at roadway entrances into the City, entrances to specific neighborhoods and along stretches of specific City roadway. Many streets where OSVs cannot park without impacting driver safety have sign restrictions in place; however, not every prohibited street has signage.
