Ken, I'll be brief this week.
There are 2 crucial ingredients to being successful with email marketing.
#1:
Discipline.
Send email on a regular basis.
- Not sporadically.
- Not once every three months.
- Not once every six months.
- Not once a year.
(Nobody's going to remember you if you send only once a year.)
➡️ Be very disciplined. Send an email on a regular basis so that people expect your email in their inbox.
#2:
Patience.
Unless your product is an "impulse buy" that people clamor to buy the first time they hear about it, you can't expect to sell something on your first (or even second) email campaign.
- Don't expect them to buy right away.
- It may be the third, the fourth, or maybe the fifth email you send that people get to know, like and trust you enough to connect with you.
➡️ Be very patient. Much like dating, it takes several emails to get people to know, like and trust you enough to buy from you.
I go into much more detail in this week’s podcast episode.
