We have been exploring the intersection of Unity's Statement of Social Action + Unity Victoria's 5 Core Values. This is the last talk in this series: our core value of Compassion.
The Face of Compassion
with Rev Vicki Vanderhorst
How does the individual face of compassion show up within the bigger picture of Social Action?
In the last 20 years, the Dalai Lama has brought the word "compassion" into our everyday vocabulary - and what a gift that has been!
Compassion is now widely accepted and practiced around the world, showing up in many forms in different cultures and aspects of our society - and likely in many more places than we're even aware of.
Many of us think of ourselves as a compassionate person. How do you know that's true?
Join Rev Vicki Vanderhorst as she explores a topic so important to both inner peace and peace within the world. From the Dalai Lama:
“Only the development of compassion and understanding for others
can bring us the tranquility and happiness we all seek.”
Rev Vicki's talk will be the last in our series exploration of In Harmony with Divine Spirit We Stand.
