We receive feedback each year about how much attendees appreciate the important information shared at this luncheon. This year, Laura Rodriguez, Chief Strategy Officer with the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade, will be our speaker. We will hear about ways Colorado remains a state that supports economic opportunity, growth, and prosperity as she discusses empowering us all to thrive in Colorado's economy. Additionally, Mayor Mitch LaKind, Mayor Glant Havenar and County Commissioner Holly Williams will provide local updates. I do hope you can join us for this relevant program.
We all want the fastest response and best care in an emergency, and fortunately, we live in an area that takes this responsibility seriously. The Monument Fire District continues to enhance their service to us and is introducing Community Connect, a free, secure, easy to use platform that allows us to share critical information that will help first responders when responding to an emergency at our homes or businesses.
