This Halloween join the Three Lakes Lions Club and local families or organizations at Cy Williams park for Trunk-or-Treating Thursday October 31, starting at 5 p.m. It will be at Cy Williams Park, located at 1704 Superior St., Downtown Three Lakes. The park will be decorated for Halloween fun. Community participants will gather their vehicles in the Park’s parking lot and open their trunks to give out candy as children walk from car to car. Some candy-givers will decorate their trunks with scenes and themes, such as pumpkin patches, spiderwebs, and monsters. Park Street, adjacent to Cy Williams Park, will be closed for the event.
The Three Lakes Lions Club will also have games for the Children. At 6 p.m. families and children in costume will parade around the park so judges can make the selection for costume winners. The Three Lakes Police Department will be on hand to help families and children cross the street from St. Theresa’s Church, where they can park their cars.
A great addition will be Free Hot Dogs for the Children in Costume from Pi Pizza Co. in Lakes just across the street from the park.
For those who want to enjoy more fun, the original movie “Ghostbusters” will be playing at 7 p.m. at Three Lakes Center for the Arts Theatre. FREE admission to the movie and a small popcorn will be offered to all children in costume.
Please join us for this fun-filled evening.
