JESUS IS COMING!

Can you hear the fanfare??

Spring is springing, the nights are staying brighter, bulbs are shooting up. Can you feel it? Do you see it? Can you hear it?!

This week we usher in Jesus’s triumphant entry into the last week of his life before his death and resurrection. There’s a donkey, the crowds are loud and chaotic. It’s a little bit of commotion.

Many of you will be hitting the streets on Saturday for various “No Kings” marches in the area. I’m aware of the dichotomy of rallying against the tyranny of earthly kings in our current public ways of life and then turning around to usher in Jesus as a king the next day. May the praying with your feet on Saturday fortify you and bring you peace as we enter Holy Week!

As a reminder, we will begin our worship service outside at 10:30am for all-church palm processional! A little bit of chaos and a crowd… and in the evening at 7pm, please come for a time of quiet reflection (and more walking) with the labyrinth walk set up in the social hall.

Jesus is coming, are you ready to be a part of the fanfare?!

Food Pantry Coordinator, Kiko Lattu

The Food Pantry is now accepting food donations

and doing set-up on Fridays 12:30- 2:00 pm

The Food Pantry is open on Saturdays

8:30 - 10 am

Who just did a good deed (for the Food Pantry!)?

Three cheers for Ms. Katie (Wilde) and Ms. Silvia (LeMon)’s kindergarten students—and their families—for helping restock our pantry!

Special thanks as well to Haldane high schoolers Nick and Ben for bringing what kindergarteners’ small arms couldn’t carry on their visit to pantry-set up last Friday!

What a haul!!

Could it be YOU???

After many years and lots of hanging and pinning and unboxing, Annie and Wally Becker will be helping to beautify our sanctuary for the last time this Easter. We typically decorate the sanctuary for Lent/Easter, Pentecost, Advent/Christmas and Welcome Back Sunday in the Fall. If you’re interested in learning more, please let Annie or Pastor Ekama know!
