About The Gallery

Welcome to Art Avenue, Sarasota's premier international art gallery.

We represent an eclectic collection—20th-century masters like Salvador Dalí alongside contemporary legends like Natasha Turovsky.

This month, we are proud to spotlight some of our local talent, including the newest members of the Art Avenue team, Summer Flower and Olivia Curren.

Summer's Story

From the day she was adopted, Summer Flower always had an interest in creating art. She started out drawing cartoon characters from her favorite childhood TV shows. Her mom quickly noticed her talent and enrolled her in the Diossy Art Studio in Vero Beach. After majoring in Fine Arts at Ringling College of Art & Design, she transferred to Miano Academy of Art, an atelier in Sarasota specializing in realist drawing and painting.

Summer immersed herself in the training and welcomed the opportunity to learn the techniques and classical principles of the old masters. She completed this four-year apprenticeship program under the watchful eye of Living Master Artist Charles Miano.

Summer's vision is to combine her detail-oriented nature with genuine service to others by drawing and painting sentimental portraits and memories of people’s pets and loved ones. 

Olivia's Journey

Olivia Curren is a 19-year-old painter, graphic designer, and illustrator whose work celebrates color, imagination, and whimsy. Inspired by everyday moments, playful storytelling, and bold palettes, she creates artwork that brings joy, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.

Working across painting, digital design, and drawing, Olivia enjoys exploring a variety of creative styles while continuing to develop her artistic voice. In 2026, she began offering her original artwork for sale and is excited to share her work with a wider audience.

As she continues to grow as an artist, Olivia looks forward to where her creative journey will take her and hopes her artwork brings a little more color into the lives of others.

Art Avenue is proud to partner with Behavior Teaching Solutions, offering creative workshops at both Sarasota gallery locations, including Language of Love—exploring healing, belonging, and emotional wellness through music, movement, poetry, and guided conversation for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults alike.

From neighborhood events in Florida to behavioral science summits in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, Behavioral Teaching Solutions creates meaningful change through its inclusive events, creative collaborations, and advocacy rooted in science and compassion.

For those who may not already know, Paul has an autistic son named Alex. The endearing father-son duo can be found sight-reading their classical favorites, from Beethoven to Schubert, at various Behavioral Teaching Solutions events—with Paul on the violin and Alex on the piano.
