On May 31, ServingTogether celebrated the official launch of our powerful network of support for veterans, service members and their families. As part of this celebration, we honored and recognized those who have helped make this possible.

ServingTogether, now affiliated with AmericaServes, is strengthening the partnerships that form the veteran network in the National Capital Region, reducing confusion, redundancy and stress on providers and clients alike.
Rachel Larkin, Director of Crisis Prevention and Intervention Services at EveryMind, recently presented a webinar on Social Media and Mental Health for the Mental Health Association of Maryland.

"It is important to meet [youth] where they are,” states Rachel. Our text and chat services are used primarily by young people ages 12-22.

The Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) is awarding employers for their exemplary commitment to building excellent places to work. EveryMind joins 41 other companies in receiving the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval.

A new partnership with the Solar Empowerment Initiative is helping us light the way for our homeless neighbors.

EveryMind will assist in the distribution of the lanterns to our most vulnerable community members. We have received 48 lanterns for distribution in Montgomery County.

Every suicide is a tragic loss, but when a public figure takes their own life, the ripples are felt by so many. We are grateful to our partners at NBC4 and ABC7 for reaching out to EveryMind’s experts for information and advice after the passing of Kate Spade earlier this week.   Please watch ABC7's interview with our Crisis Prevention and Intervention Manager, Lorraine Helferich.  Look for NBC4’s coverage with Crisis Prevention and Intervention Director Rachel Larkin on our social media in the coming days.

Remember – we are here. And only a call, text or chat away.
