Honoring Those Who Help Our Youth
Next week, Linkages to Learning's 25th Anniversary Recognition Ceremony will honor both its most involved volunteers and most supportive donors. EveryMind is a proud partner of Linkages to Learning, administering 11 of the 29 sites throughout Montgomery County. We will be honoring several volunteers at this event, one for each of our sites, and the Millian Memorial United Methodist Church for their incredible support and generosity during the prolonged reconstruction at Wheaton Woods Elementary School.

We are proud to honor so many and thankful to all who have helped make Linkages to Learning so successful.
Veteran Housing Connections Forum a Success
ServingTogether recently partnered with the Fairfax County Office of Public Private Partnerships and Fairfax County Veteran Treatment Docket to conduct a Veteran Housing Connections Forum. The event was highly successful, enabling organizations and veterans to network with each other to learn about programs, services and needs. Every county and city in Northern Virginia was represented by at least one department or agency.

Dine Out to Support EveryMind
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Several local restaurants will help raise funds and awareness to support EveryMind’s work to strengthen our community by empowering our neighbors to reach optimal mental wellness. Join us for friendship and food in support of EveryMind. By dining with our restaurant partners, you will help children, individuals, older adults, veterans and families by doing something you do every day – enjoy a meal with family and friends.

We are incredibly grateful to have the support of these restaurants as we continue to break down the stigma surrounding mental health in our community.
