Prayer for Great Plains Lutheran High School
Heavenly Father, in this Epiphany season, you make it clear to us through your Word that your Son, Jesus Christ, is true God and Savior of all. We ask that through that same Word you would strengthen the faith of the students attending Great Plains Lutheran High School, as well as the faith of students enrolled at all schools where your Word is proclaimed. We also ask, O Lord, that you bless the building plans being made. Please also bless GPLHS with the opportunity to work with many more students and families in the coming school year. May your glory be revealed to us and through us. Amen.
Another Step Forward

Seeking Concession Volunteers
All GPL families are being asked to serve in the concession stand this basketball season. This volunteer opportunity is not limited to current students’ immediate families. Relatives, parents of former students, friends - anyone with an interest in GPL students and programs can volunteer. These additional volunteers will be a great blessing as we seek to provide a quality experience for our students and guests to our campus. Sign up at the link below. The Panther Wear On-line Store through Roy’s Sports Shop in Watertown can be accessed at the link below. It takes about 2 weeks to process orders . You can avoid shipping fees by selecting to pick up your items at Roy's in Watertown.

Financial Update
The goal for donations received in November and December of 2019 was $382,000. As of the writing of this article we have received $283,852 toward that goal.
These donations fund the ministry of GPLHS that is not covered by tuition income. The students of GPL are blessed through your generosity and vision to support their Christian education through your gifts and prayers. Thank you!

New Wish List Item
The GPLHS Art program is in need of a large set of shelves to house paper for large art projects. We have an initial gift of a Thrivent action fund to purchase this shelf. Donations of $500 would cover the remaining cost. At gplhs.org click on ‘Support’ and designate your gift to ‘Wish List: Art Shelf.’ Thanks!
