Abused and neglected children bear the impact of their trauma their entire lives.
One morning earlier this month, an 8-year-old boy in our care, “Henry”, was discovered to have a bullet in his pocket upon intake. Henry also repeatedly talked about having a knife in his pocket because he needed protection.

Can you imagine what Henry has experienced in life so far that he was continually afraid he would come to harm? House Parents reassured Henry throughout his stay here that he was safe.

Abused and neglected children bear the impact of their trauma their entire lives. That trauma costs them healthy relationships, stable lives, and their own sense of worth. Children who have suffered trauma become adults who have higher occurrences of medical and mental health issues.

Your support is an investment in these children. Your support helps children learn to understand and manage their emotions. Your support helps us begin to break the cycles of dysfunction these children experience.

Please support our work with a donation of $100, or $250, or with whatever you are able to give. The future of our community’s children is at stake – and you can make a difference.

With gratitude,
