The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness, a light has dawned.
Isaiah 9:2

PRAISE
- By the grace of God, we successfully conducted the Jinja By His Wounds (BHW) and Caring for the Vulnerable Child (CVC) conferences. The Jinja BHW conference comprised 42 participants from Faith Child Ministries, which runs an orphanage. The sessions richly blessed the participants, as many regained their sense of hope and gave up on the thought of committing suicide. The CVC conference was specifically for young orphans; there were nine children. They, too, received healing.
- We also successfully conducted CVC training with the 36 master trainers of the Rwamwanja refugee camp. Participants openly said that they had been mistreating their children, not knowing that they were valuable before God. The conference redeemed many children who were going through abuse.
- We are pleased to announce that the translation of the BHW workbook into the Runyoro and Runyankole languages has been completed. This milestone marks a significant step in our mission to reach and support more communities.
PRAYER
- Pray for the BHW conference in the Kitgum district in northern Uganda. May God prepare the trainers and the participants and offer us safe travels.
- Pray for our families that God would continue to protect and give us good health.

PRAISE
- We praise God for the ongoing radio outreach program in which the BHW teachings are broadcast weekly through seven local radios: Beni, Oicha, Mangina, Kasindi, Nobili, and Mutwanga.
- The BHW intensive training at Kantine was held from September 24 to 26, 2024. Fifty-four people were trained (picture above).
- The CVC workshops for school leaders and chaplains at Kasindi and Bulongo reached 88 school leaders and chaplains.
- We praise God for the BHW training and Healing Groups follow-up at Kasindi (October 12), Lume (October 21) and Mangina (October 22).
PRAYER
- Please pray for the BHW training and Healing Groups follow-up in Oicha on November 11, 2024.
- For the preparations for the December BHW training in Bunia, December 10 – 13, 2024.
- Please pray for Pastor David's five weeks of courses in Kampala.
- Pray for political and social stability in Eastern DRC, specifically in Rutsuru, Masisi, Lubero, Beni, Irumu, Mambasa, and Djugu territories. Unrest has plunged the cities of Goma, Butembo, Beni, Oicha, and Bunia into instability, displacing many families and forcing them to live in camps.
- Let us fervently pray for God's blessing and power over the Church in this part of the country. The Church's effectiveness in evangelical, counseling, and trauma-healing ministries is paramount in these challenging times.
- Pray for God's blessing and empowerment of our MTS and BHW teams, projects, and activities, including our radio outreach message and listeners.

PRAYER & PRAISE
- The above picture shows us at the ECP/CECA 20 Aru administration office with the chaplains. Papa Katavo taught solid school chaplaincy for one week, and we had forty participants.
- Katavo's family praises the Lord for the changes that have begun in the lives of their sons, Elishama Musumba and Steve Musumba. Thank you for your prayer support.
- We praise the Lord for the successful training of 60 school chaplains. We are grateful that Katavo traveled and attended 1056 km away from home.
- We praise the Lord for the team of Bible translators for Congo Swahili, which is set and will soon begin the great work with Biblica Africa. Thank you for praying for a three-year effort for wisdom, stamina, and resources.
- Katavo and the team need your prayer support as they complete the French and Swahili translation of the Caring for Vulnerable Child in November.
- Let us ask God's healing grace for the 500 youth Katavo will teach at a week-long Bible camp in the Triangle of Death in Beni district next month.

PRAYER & PRAISE
- I thank my God for his protection during October. From a security standpoint, we are still living in fear, given that the ADF is going around our city, Mambowa, looking for our hospital. For this reason, we now have a military camp of 30 soldiers near the hospital to secure our nursing staff and patients. Currently, the hospital receives displaced people. Furthermore, we also treat several gunshot wounds that come from the battlefield. Our statistic is 15 surgical interventions per week in our orthopedic surgery department, and all these patients benefit from the psychological support we do with the psychologist. We also use our book, By His Wounds, to help them.
- In the exercise of my profession, I have several difficulties in life, given that the hospital is unable to raise my salary, and access to risk premiums in our country is difficult if you are not a child of an authority working in the government. Thus, please pray that God goes before our pleadings so that our government may recognize us and allow us to access the risk premiums.
- Pray that God restores peace in our province because the war has made the population more vulnerable to the point that people are not able to pay for their treatment since most of their income comes from the fields, which are now occupied by rebels.
- May God heal our inner wounds. We are all traumatized.
- May God use me powerfully for His glory and His honor.
- May God bless all of you who find time to pray for us. Thank you so much. May God bless you

PRAYER & PRAISE
- Our team continues serving five groups that meet weekly to work through the By His Wounds book. These healing groups are producing hope, and people love the book.
- Our new co-facilitators are working hard and taking on more responsibility. Pray for them to have a true calling to this ministry. We hope several will lead their solo groups in February 2025.
- Two new churches have contacted us about having MTS groups at their churches. We are still determining how we will accommodate those requests, but we are encouraged that these requests come from word-of-mouth testimonies.

- We (the MTS team) finished the material for the Native American MTS workbook. We submitted it earlier this month to the Tracys and are, I believe, having a celebration party this coming month.
- Pray for continued unity within our team and for traveling mercies, as many of our team members are traveling this month for different conferences and meetings with partnering ministries of Indian Bible College.
- Pray for my new marriage and support for my wife and me as we serve in ministry together at the college. She is the registrar and Life Coach director and teaches a class on personal development. I am the newly appointed Dean of Men and run a business for the school. I also teach classes.

"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me, there is no savior.
