Going to AGU? Consider submitting an abstract to our CLEAN-sponsored sessions, 

• Climate Empowerment: Effective strategies to advance climate and resilience education in K-12 and informal learning contexts (ED008) 
• Climate Empowerment: Exploring Professional Development Innovations to Engage Educators and the Future Workforce in Climate Solutions (ED009)

All CLEAN-related sessions are indexed together by using “Climate Empowerment” in the title, so you can easily search for them on the AGU system. Abstracts are due EOD Wednesday August 3rd, 2022!

*New to AGU? The annual Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union convenes thousands of geoscientists, and it is one of the largest networking events for our community. Last week’s CLEAN Telecon (7/26) was a discussion on all things AGU- how to submit an abstract, and which sessions to submit an abstract to! You can find a recording of that discussion here.

Rising Sun is a premier nonprofit organization working at the intersection of economic equity and climate resilience in the California Bay Area and San Joaquin County. With offices in Oakland and Stockton, their workforce development programs specialize in preparing youth, women, and individuals in reentry for high-road careers and green pathways that offer family-sustaining wages.
