Networking with CLEAN at AGU

  • If you are attending in person, please join us for a social hour at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place’s Arc Bar at 6 pm CST on Monday (12/12).
  • If you are attending virtually (or in person!), please join us for networking time during Tuesday’s weekly CLEAN call at 1 pm EST/12 pm CST/10 am PST (12/13).

Opportunities

CLEAN is looking for teachers to provide feedback on the usability of new webpages about climate mental health and/or who may be interested in testing out some short activities designed to support student emotions associated with climate change. Teachers will receive a $100 stipend for webpage review and a $50 stipend for every 2 activities they test out in the classroom and provide feedback on. If interested or for more information, please reach out to [email protected].

Battelle Memorial Institute has partnered with Future Engineers to host a free / online climate resiliency challenge for 9th to 12th grade students across the United States. The Battelle Climate Challenge asks students to share their ideas for mitigating the effects of human-made climate change in their communities. The Save Our Winter juried exhibition is created in partnership with the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Adirondack Experience, Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center, and The Wild Center, to be presented with FISU World University Games. We want to hear from you the artist: What do you love about winter and hope never to lose to climate change? Online applications will open on November 27th, 2022.
