Opportunities to "Just Show Up"

Friends and neighbors, those who feel like they don't know what to believe anymore, those who are carrying burdens too heavy to bear...you are invited to join the Zion community for worship during Holy Week this year.

The most holy week in the Christian calendar began on Palm Sunday with Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, which quickly changed tone as Jesus moves closer and closer to the cross. Our week will continue as we feature our preschool students from Evergreen Academy on Thursday afternoon and worship with our siblings at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Boca Raton on Thursday evening. What is finished at the cross on Good Friday is really the ultimate, "But wait...there's more!" Our week concludes with a festive worship service on Easter Sunday.

Especially this week, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you at Zion.

Easter Sunday

The Resurrection of Our Lord

“The last enemy to be destroyed is death,” Paul writes. On Easter Sunday, Christ is risen, and we gather together with astonishment and joy. Christ is risen, and we have been set free from the bonds of death. Christ is risen, and we are forgiven. Christ is risen, and with the women at the tomb and Peter, we are amazed. Let us rejoice: Christ is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Sunday's bulletin can be found here.
