When we say "all are welcome," we really mean it.

Especially this month and in partnership with the wider church and society, we recognize and celebrate our members of the LGBTQIA+ community and give thanks for them as siblings in the body of Christ.
Dear Church: Let the Holy Spirit Loose!

As we reach the six month mark in 2022, having introduced all six of our discipleship emphases, we turn again to our guru Pastor Mike Foss, who says that giving is the melding of our resources (money) with our passion (service) and compassion (heart). We cannot thrive as a vital and vibrant church without drawing energy from the intersection of our resources, our passions, and our hearts. This is why your leaders consistently ask: What are you passionate about? Who tugs at your heart?

Imagine what Zion would look like within one year if we gave ourselves completely into our passions and compassions and used those places in our hearts to direct our mission and ministry.

Pastor Foss goes on to say that "The human heart is the playground of the Holy Spirit." I dare say that our prayer should not only be "Come, Holy Spirit!" but "Let the Holy Spirit loose in the life of this church!" I can't guarantee that it will always be easy, but I can guarantee an adventure with God in the driver's seat.

Come to Sunday's meeting and let's talk more about letting the Holy Spirit loose at Zion, at Evergreen Academy, and in Deerfield Beach over the next year of mission and ministry together.

See you there!
