COVID-19 Kindness Shout-out

We would like to thank our landlord, Ilse Green for giving us a rent reduction during these trying times. Her kindness is what makes a community stronger.
Will you do your part for 2020?

We are asking 20 members to follow Mrs. Green's lead in supporting your Marion County Democrats Central Committee.

In order to keep the office available for the day when we can gather again, even if only small groups we need to continue our fundraising efforts.

Will you please make a $20 monthly recurring gift today through our Democratic Victory Alliance (DVA)? Your support makes all the difference! If you are current DVA member giving less than $20 a month, please consider upping your donation to meet this challenge!

20 members giving $20 a month - 2020 will make a significant difference in how we can help our candidates win in the General Election, November 3rd.
Please Send Healing Help to our Friend

Are you interested in being an elected Oregon Delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention?

Application deadline: May 21st!

To be an Oregon delegate to the national convention, you must be registered as a Democrat and remain registered as a Democrat throughout the Delegate Selection Process. You also may not participate in the 2020 presidential nominating process of any other Party.

The convention is much more than selecting a presidential candidate. Rules and party platform decisions are also made.

After ensuring you’re registered as a Democrat, you must file an online Delegate Selection Filing Form (where you designate your presidential preference) with the Democratic Party of Oregon.  The form is available here. This form must be submitted no later than May 21st, 2020 at 5 pm Pacific Time.

The number of delegates elected to support each presidential candidate is determined proportionally by the percentage of votes each candidate receives in the May 19th Oregon Primary. Oregon Democratic delegates are then elected on ballots sent to voters on May 27th, that must be returned to the DPO by June 12th at 5 pm Pacific Time.

The Democratic Party of Oregon has set diversity and representation goals for our delegation, as we want our delegation to be representative of Oregon’s diverse population.

Please visit the Democratic Party of Oregon's website for more information.

You can also watch this informative video that has the most up-to-date process information in light of COVID-19.
We miss you! Until we can safely gather again, please stay home or if you have to go out - please be careful and thoughtful of others. Wear a mask and wash your hands!
