How will you 'spend' yourself?

In Isaiah 58:10, God speaks through the prophet:

...if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed...

Join us this Sunday, June 11, as Pastor George shares the first of his final two messages. Pastor George will share some of how he has learned to 'spend' himself on behalf of others and challenge each person to 'spend' themselves with wisely.

Bells of Life

Our handbells are in need of a tune-up!

Our five octaves of handbells need polished, re-tuned, and repaired. Can you help with this special project?

The cost to refurbish the bells is $2,745. If you would like to contribute to the expense, please make a donation by check to Linglestown Life and mark Bell Fund in the memo line. Thanks!

Want to learn how to play the handbells?

This summer we'd like to host some introductory classes for kids and adults. If you would be interested in participating in this introductory experience, please contact a member of Bells of Life, or send an email to [email protected]

Nursery Care Servants

We have an abundance of infants in our nursery at 10:00am and need you to help! We are looking for servants who will join a team to serve the children and their parents. If you are willing to serve in this team, please contact the church office. You will be required to complete our Safe Sanctuary requirements.

Books. Books. Books.

Pastor George has lots of books! More than he wants to move!

There are carts filled with books in Janie's Place that you may take books from. Books are free.

Thank you from LAHMBs!!!

LAHMBs would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who came to our fundraiser on Sunday, participated in our online auction, or donated in any way! It was a HUGE success! We raised $3,300 to help families in need in our community!!! This money will go to provide car seats, strollers, pack 'n plays and other items needed to help these families care for their young children. Thanks again for helping to make our 2nd Annual Rockin' Out For Moms and Babies event a successful one!!!

LAHMBs Needs

The LAHMBs (The Lord’s Angels Helping Moms & Babies, an outreach helping parenting teens and families in need) has an immediate need for strollers (both full size and umbrella, no joggers please) and high back booster car seats. Highchairs, bathtubs and clothing from preemie/newborn through size 5T are always accepted. Please share with your friends, neighbors, preschools and moms’ groups! All these blessings help others right in our own community. Life Camp

Life Camp volunteers are needed for a variety of roles during the three days of camp (June 13th - 15th from 9:30am-12:00pm). We are looking for youth to serve as game and activity leaders (garner hours for service), adults to shepherd and lead kids and programs, and persons to help with simple snacks each day.

We would like to thank everyone that came out the last ten weeks and volunteered their time during the Music in the Parks season! This Friday is the last day for the even and after the choirs leave and we clean up, there will be pizza for anyone that volunteered their time. Thank you again, and it looks like there will be just as many dates, if not more next year!
