Sept. 26-28: Neptune Festival 51st Annual Boardwalk Weekend

Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend returns to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Sept. 26-28. This beach life celebration will span 1st to 35th Street and include a robust lineup of featured events such as the International Sandsculpting Championship and Neptune Festival Art & Craft Show (and many more!), plus live music performances all three days.

Oct. 10-12: 69th Annual Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show

Mark your calendar for Virginia Beach's premier art event, the Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show. Marking its 69th year, the festival will run Oct. 10-12 from 24th Street to 35th Street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The event will showcase the impressive artwork of more than 150 artists and will also include a variety of other activities including Yoga with Bhav Brigade, Virginia MOCA Art Park and the Liquid Art Beer Garden. Sept. 12-13: Neptune Festival's 28th Annual Fall Wine Festival


It's almost time for the Neptune Festival's 28th Annual Fall Wine Festival at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. On Friday, Sept. 12 (4:00-8:00 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept. 13 (12:00-5:00 p.m.) this popular wine festival returns. Grab tickets and get ready to enjoy tastings from top vineyards in Virginia. Along with 60 different wines available for tasting, the event will feature live entertainment, delicious food and much more!

Sept. 11: Symphony By The Sea Concert Series


The Symphonicity Orchestra will perform Sept. 11 as part of the Neptune Festival's Symphony By the Sea Concert Series, which runs through Sept. 18.


The concerts are held at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront's 31st Street Park from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Free!

Now Open: Atlantic Park Surf Lagoon

Our country's first Wavegarden Cove Surf Lagoon, Atlantic Park Surf, is now open at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This attraction is part of the new Atlantic Park development, which includes the entertainment venue, The Dome, with more features to come soon. Powered by the highly energy-efficient Wavegarden Cove technology, the attraction can produce more than 20 types of waves and as many as 1,000 waves per hour. The waves range from one to seven feet and can be adjusted for all different level surfers. The sessions are 55 minutes and will be available all year. Book your surf sessions today!
