Our brand new Bible Study begins Sunday during Cafe and Wednesday.
A Disciple's Path is an engaging approach to discipleship from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective. The program guides individuals to take the next step in discipleship and become dynamic, engaged followers of Jesus Christ.
Plan now to join us Sunday's after church or Wednesdays at 7:00pm or find a time that suits you the best and form your own group.
Materials can be ordered through the church office or wherever you buy your books.

In preparation, please bring in candy now. We need LOTS and LOTS of individually wrapped candy.

A special Church Worship Service in honor of America's and Arizona's Veterans. Colonel Thomas H. Kirk, Jr., U.S. Air Force, Retired, has accepted our invitation to speak during the worship service. Invite all family, friends, and veterans you know; the public is invited. A light lunch will be served after worship during Café.

Our online "Give+ App"
has changed.
If you use your mobile device to give your tithes and offerings to Cross Roads, you'll need to install the Vanco Mobile App. Login is the same as the Give+ App. If you've set up automatic payments, you don't need to make any changes.
A reminder: If your giving comes by check, please expect a slight delay in your bank account deduction. A growing number of tithes and offerings now come to us electronically, so our money counters only meet every other Monday to deposit cash and checks. Until then, all gifts wait patiently in our church safe.

Sallie Chandler was born in Rich Hill, Missouri south of Kansas City. Her grandmother who lived there was a Methodist but her parents didn't attend church and the grandmother didn't drive. However, a woman in the Methodist church offered her rides. Eventually the Presbyterian and Methodist churches merged and took turns hosting services. Likewise, the children took turns pulling on the rope to ring the big bells for Sunday service.
When Sallie was in high school she moved with her family to Kansas City, Missouri. Her mother was in the insurance business and Sallie worked under her in the agency. After high school she had an insurance job with Leavitt Insurance of Utah. They transferred Sallie to Phoenix to manage a new agency.
In 2016 Sallie retired from work and returned to the Methodist Church. Lucky for us it was at Cross Roads.
Sallie is a divorcee with no children or siblings. Sallie was baptized in our church. She served on the Cross Roads Foundation team for many years and has helped with POWWOW, communion, greeters, and money counting.
Sallie enjoys walks, jigsaw puzzles, and crosswords.
