Dear Friends of PIH Health,

What a season it has been! From breaking ground on a brand-new facility to celebrating our incredible community partners, PIH Health continues to grow—and it’s all because of supporters like you. Your generosity is behind all of it, and we are excited to share the latest with you.

In this edition:

  • New Medical Office Building Groundbreaking
  • Golf Tournament Raises $400,000
  • Recent Events & Community Highlights
  • Grants & Generous Donations

On December 18, 2025, PIH Health celebrated the groundbreaking of a new medical office building on the PIH Health Whittier Hospital’s campus, at Washington Boulevard and Putnam Street. The facility — set to open in 2027 — will house urgent care, imaging, outpatient surgery, an eye clinic, primary care, and specialty physician offices, all designed to bring more services closer to home. City of Whittier Mayor Joe Vinatieri, PIH Health leadership, and construction partner BOLDT joined community leaders and board members for the ceremony.

Renovations are officially underway at the Patricia L. Scheifly Breast Health Center on our PIH Health Whittier Hospital campus. The refresh will modernize technology, remodel the lobby, upgrade dressing rooms, improve patient flow, expand capacity, and refresh the entire space – all while maintaining the nationally accredited standard of care our patients count on. Patient services continue uninterrupted, and we can’t wait to celebrate the grand opening with you later this year.

If you would like to support this project, your gift of any size helps bring life-saving breast health services and advanced technologies to patients who need them.

The 2025 PIH Health Foundation Golf Tournament at Friendly Hills Country Club was another incredible day on the greens! Golfers, sponsors, and supporters came together on October 27, 2025, for trick shots by entertainer Dan Boever, on-course contests, a barbecue lunch, dinner, and a live auction that included a Nashville Getaway and Aviara Golf Club Stay & Play. The $400,000 raised goes directly toward advancing medical technology, enhancing patient services, and supporting our caregivers. Thank you to every sponsor, player, and volunteer who made it happen!

Don’t miss this year’s

PIH Health Foundation Golf Tournament!
