“Choose today whom you will serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Dear friends,

A couple of Sundays ago, we wrapped up our annual Stewardship campaign with Dedication Sunday during worship. We had the opportunity to jot down a few thoughts on special response cards – our hopes and dreams for our pledges, what we love about Westminster, and why giving to the church is important – and pin those thoughts to a Stewardship Vision board.

I encourage you to stop by the Vision board the next time you're at church and take a little time to read those responses and reflect on the meaning of our collective giving of time, talent, and treasure.

The church relies on our annual pledges to plan, budget, and provide the resources that allow us to build faith, worship, community, and Christian service to our neighbors in Durham and beyond. Simply put, this cannot happen without our pledges of financial support.

We know you are dedicated to supporting Westminster’s mission and ministries, but we noticed we haven't yet received your pledge of giving for 2023. If you could go ahead and send that in, it would really help the church, especially now as our Ways & Means Commission is planning the budget for the new year. Every pledge, of any amount, truly makes a difference.

You can pledge online through your myWPC account (log in first, then activate this link) or download a pledge form to fill in and bring to church on Sunday. There are also pledge forms located in the Mission Center lobby and Narthex. Or, simply contact Sharon Morgan, WPC's Business Manager, with your pledge details, and she'll be happy to help.

Thank you for your continued and generous support of Westminster Presbyterian Church!

With gratitude,

Chris
