MADACC to Host 'Purr-Fect Paws' Cat & Kitten Adoption Event

Saturday, December 15th - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.  PurrFectPaws_12_12

Are you looking to add a cat to your household? We will have adult cats as well as kittens, many of which have been in foster homes. Everyone who adopts will receive a free gift for their cat.

The event adoption fee is $25 for adult cats, $75 for a kitten, or two kittens for $125. Costs include age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, and FeLV testing. There is an additional $12 fee to license a cat over five months old who will reside in Milwaukee County.

Because this has been such a popular event (22 cats adopted in September and 30 in October) it helps to get their early. Those interested in adopting can "prequalify" by completing an adoption application in advance. If approved, the cat/kitten can be taken home the same day of the event. Contact adoptmadacc@gmail.com to obtain a downloadable application, or stop in at MADACC before the event to complete a paper application. Renters: please bring proof that your landlords allow pets, for example, a copy of your lease. MADACC is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

And don't forget the bake sale! The Cats' Voice will have human treats for sale and all of the proceeds will go to purchasing toys for the kennel cats.
