Neighborhood Meeting Scheduled for Woodford Street-Forest Ave Storm Drain Project
The Portland Department of Public Works would like to invite you to a neighborhood meeting to discuss the design of the Woodford Street-Forest Ave Storm Drain Project. The project is intended to accomplish two items: 1) to help the City with their efforts to prevent Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO) into Back Cove; and 2) to reduce flooding in the Woodford Corner section of Forest Avenue.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at the
Ocean Avenue Elementary School
50 Ocean Avenue
The meeting should last about an hour. Please join us to receive a verbal description of what the project intends to achieve. The meeting will discuss the city’s sewer/ storm drain project and is not intended to discuss the broader Maine Department of Transportation's project. FMI click here.
