Klyde Warren Park and COVID-19
The staff at Klyde Warren Park has worked very hard for the past six months to offer safe programming, including socially distanced concerts, movies and fitness classes. Due to the recent surge of Covid cases, however, we have decided to postpone our next two movies: The Lego Movie on 11/14 and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on 11/21.
With research consistently touting the benefits of being outdoors, however, we remain committed to keeping Klyde Warren Park active for the community, as well as clean and safe.
We will soon be announcing detailed plans for the holidays, but know that our annual tree lighting will look a little different this year. Instead of a one-night event, we will offer seven separate tree lightings in December, so that families can pick their night to enjoy this special tradition in a socially distanced way. In addition, we will close the Park on December 5 to record a tree lighting celebration benefiting North Texas Food Bank and broadcast by CBS 11 to the entire community later in the month.
Thank you for helping Klyde Warren Park remain safe for everyone. We truly appreciate your ongoing support.

Paula Lambert has been making cheese in Texas since 1982. Her award-winning Mozzarella Company introduces two new selections for the 2020 holidays: Paula’s Holiday Combo, with local artisanal chutney and erasable cheese markers, and Holiday Spreadables in three unique and distinct flavors.

Though our Children’s Park remains closed, the Park is open. Please remember to wear a mask, if you are unable to socially distance. If you are sick, please come see us another time.

The Park Needs Your Support More Than Ever
Klyde Warren Park's mission is to provide free programming and educational opportunities for the enrichment of visitors' lives, to showcase the diverse multitude of cultures and talents Dallas has to offer, and to be a town square where citizens may congregate and create traditions together.
The 5.2-acre park relies on contributions from donors to support maintenance, special programming and educational activities for more than one million visitors each year. Please consider making a gift to help us pay for expanded cleaning protocols. Thank you!
