President's Message

Sad news -- Richard Earl Wayman Senior passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 in San Diego CA at the age of 88. Dick had a passion for libraries and was active in the American Library Association and the local and state library organizations in IL MI and CA. He was instrumental in raising funds for Ramona Library building in 2011 and leading the way for the Dick Wayman Technology Center which opened in 2015.

The FORL has already donated two AWE computers to the library to promote early childhood literacy. We are in the running for a grant from the Ramona Community Foundation to purchase two more. Keep your fingers and toes crossed!

Summer Lunches will be available at the Ramona Library for teens and kids under the age of 18 through August 11, thanks to Feeding San Diego.
