February Charity
Monday, February 2
| |
This February, Hearts of Miromar is proud to support Eva’s Closet & Foundation, a remarkable volunteer-driven organization making a powerful impact right here in Southwest Florida. Each month, Eva’s Closet serves more than 1,500 individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and other significant challenges.
Through free clothing, food, and household essentials — along with guidance, referrals, and compassionate support — Eva’s Closet helps individuals and families take meaningful steps toward stability and self-sufficiency.
| |
|
Many of those served are single mothers living below the poverty level or individuals experiencing homelessness, often living out of their cars. Your generosity offers not only immediate relief, but dignity, encouragement, and hope.
Every donation from Hearts members goes directly to supporting these vulnerable neighbors and creating real, tangible change in our community.
How to Help:
-
Donations: Bring new or gently worn items for women such as professional and casual attire, shoes, purses, bras, and jewelry to the February Luncheon or drop off at Carol Lamping’s home at 10284 Porto Romano.
-
Monetary Donations: Make checks payable to Eva’s Closet & Foundation and bring to the February Luncheon or by using this link to the website:

Tech Tip: Find Things Fast on Your Phone!
Phones can get full of photos, messages, and apps — here’s a quick way to find what you need without scrolling endlessly:
- Use the search bar! On most phones, it’s at the top of your home screen or in your apps.
- Type in what you’re looking for: a contact’s name, an app, or even a keyword from a message.
- Your phone will show you results instantly — faster than hunting through screens and folders! 🔍✨
This works on almost every phone, and it’s a simple trick that can save a ton of time.

Say Cheese, Hearts!
We’d love to freshen up our Member Directory with current photos so fellow Hearts can easily put faces with names—and feel even more connected. Whether it’s a favorite headshot or a recent snapshot that captures you, now’s the perfect time to share!
Right now, members aren’t able to upload photos directly, so simply email your photo to kimberly.huffman1966@gmail.com and I’ll take care of the rest. Easy peasy! A smiling face goes a long way in building friendships, so let’s make our directory as warm and welcoming as our Hearts community. 💕✨

Website Access: What You Need to Know
Good news — you don’t need to log in to enjoy most of our website. You can browse content, register for luncheons, and sign up for events without ever entering a username or password.
Logging in is only needed for member-only features like the member directory or financial information. One handy perk? When you fill out online forms while logged in, your information is often pre-populated, saving you time — but again, it’s completely optional.
If logging in feels tricky or you run into any hiccups, I’m happy to help! Just email me at kimberly.huffman1966@gmail.com, and I can assist with your username or reset your password. 💕
