Dear FAA Family,
This year’s Wax Museum program was nothing short of spectacular! Our scholars exceeded all expectations, showcasing their incredible talent and dedication. Their success is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of everyone involved in making this program a reality.
We were thrilled to welcome one of the largest crowds we’ve seen in years. A special honor was having Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna S. Witt and her team join us, adding to the significance of the event.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the local entrepreneurs—barbershop owners, restaurant owners, salon owners, and more—who took time away from their businesses to witness our scholars portray them. There’s something truly magical about seeing yourself represented in real time, and your presence meant the world to us. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable experience!
READ-A-THON Update
Our READ-A-THON officially ended last week, and we are excited to share that the final tally is being calculated. Winners will be announced later this week.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all the scholars who devoted their time to reading and expanding their intellectual abilities. Your dedication to learning is truly commendable!
As we celebrate the success of the READ-A-THON, we encourage families to continue supporting scholars by making nightly reading a priority. The end of the READ-A-THON doesn’t mean the end of reading—it’s an opportunity to keep building on the progress we’ve made.
We hope this year’s READ-A-THON has sparked a lasting interest in reading for our scholars. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to inspire a love for books and learning!
