2023 Employee Holiday Fund
Dear Members,
As we have previously communicated, maintaining the necessary base of great employees is one of the most significant challenges facing the Club/Resort, as is the case with all hospitality outlets in the region. Throughout the past year, our team has made significant investments in recruiting and payroll increases to attract and retain great team members. In addition to these efforts, we are excited to introduce a new tradition at Fripp Island Club that provides members with the option to help reward the dedicated team that serves them daily.
An employee Holiday Fund is a very common practice at most private Clubs. The optional contribution to the Holiday Fund enables you to express your appreciation to the Club’s employees, including those whose efforts from the “back of the house” or out on the course play a part in making your Club experience enjoyable. 100% of the funds collected will be distributed to hourly employees and department heads at Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort. No executive team members will receive any portion of the Holiday Fund.
For your convenience, the 2023 Holiday Fund distribution will be billed on your December Member Statement in the amount of $50. However, we understand that some of you would like to give more, less, or not participate at all. If you would like to change the amount of your contribution or opt-out, please email clubbill@frippislandresort.com or call 843-838-1567 by December 8. If you would like to keep your contribution at $50, no action is required.
We recognize that several Member Associations and individual Members show their appreciation for many employee groups throughout the holiday season. We greatly appreciate this and feel the Holiday Fund will be a terrific supplement that will reach an even broader spectrum of employees.
Thank you for your membership and ongoing support. We wish you a joyous Holiday Season and look forward to seeing you around the Island!
Cheers,
John Scappatura
