Holiday lighting and decorations will be permitted between November 1, 2023 and January 15, 2024, so long as the lights and decorations are unobtrusive and do not constitute a nuisance.

North Center & Main Center Pool Closures

The North Center and Main Center outdoor pools are currently closed due to issues with the 911 phone not functioning. This is a safety concern, as the 911 phone is crucial for emergency situations. The closure is a precautionary measure until the problem is resolved.

Westside Pergolas

Repair work is being done at the West Village Center's Pergolas near the bocce courts. The area will be taped off for safety during the repair process. The estimated completion time is three weeks.

Committee and BoD meetings are open to all Frisco Lakes residents.

  • Review of the Association monthly financial statement
  • Providing input for preparation of the annual budget
  • Reviewing the annual audit of the association's financial records
  • Reviewing the reserve study
  • Providing information regarding Association finances to residents
  • Assisting the Board of Directors in other financial matters as needed

Neighborhood Watch – 4 openings:

Mission Statement: Partnering with the Frisco Police Department and the Frisco Fire Department, we will promote individual involvement and neighborhood commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our community. Social - 2 openings: The Social Committee plans, organizes, and hosts four to five large-scale events each year for the residents of Frisco Lakes. Annually, the Social Committee plans the Valentine's Party, Halloween Party, and New Year's Eve Party.

To express your interest, please complete an application for the desired committee and return the completed form via email to [email protected] or drop it off at the Village Center Front Desk. The applications are located under each Committee’s tab on the Frisco Lakes Community Association website (FriscoLakes.net). Thank you for your dedication to the Frisco Lakes community. We look forward to working together to achieve our common goals.

Update to Ticket Sales

We will be doing raffles going forward for ticketed events. This approach not only adds an element of excitement but also eliminates the need for a first-come-first-served system, providing a fair chance for everyone to have their preferred choice of tables. The following is the process:

  1. Signup Event: Attendees, whether they are in groups or individuals, will sign up for the event during ticket sales event.
  2. Ticket Distribution: Each group or individual will receive a ticket when they attend the Ticket Sale event. This ticket will be used in the raffle.
  3. Raffle Drawing: At the event, the tickets will be put into a raffle. The drawing will determine the order in which groups or individuals can pick their tables.
  4. Table Selection: Based on the order determined by the raffle drawing, groups or individuals will have the opportunity to pick their tables. This process continues until all tables are selected.

Pool Maintenance Schedule

Due to the holiday the pool will be closed this month December 31 - January 1. The Village Center Indoor Pool and Spa is usually closed on the first Monday of each month for hyperchlorination per the association's water management plan. The pool will be closed the evening before its scheduled hyperchlorination since the process takes 24 hour.

Frisco Lakes Website vs. Active Net

The Community Association office receives a number of questions about the Frisco Lakes website (www.friscolakes.net) versus Active Net. These are two separate websites. Active Net is the activity registration website. Your Username (or Login ID) on the Frisco Lakes website can be anything (as long as it is unique). Your Username (or Login ID) on Active Net is always your email address.

If you have turned in your new homeowner paperwork and have a badge and a fob, you have an Active Net account. You must request an account on the Frisco Lakes website by going to www.friscolakes.net, clicking on CREATE NEW ACCOUNT, and filling out the information. An email will then be sent to our Administrative Coordinator who will confirm you are a resident. The Administrative Coordinator will email you when your account has been created.
