2026 PPIHC COMPETITORS REVEALED

Entries are set for the 104th Running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, presented by Gran Turismo, with competitors from 11 countries preparing for the 12.42-mile ascent of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. The accomplished field features 12 rookies and a record seven women in competition. Together, they help us celebrate a historic year marking the 250th anniversary of the United States and Colorado’s 150th birthday.


Five-time champion Romain Dumas returns in the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E, while four-time winner Robin Shute debuts the new Sendycar V1 prototype.

FAN FEST VENDOR REGISTRATION

Vendor registration is now open for Fan Fest, presented by Toyo Tires, on Friday, June 19, from 5 to 9 p.m.


This free, 10-block Downtown Colorado Springs street festival draws 35,000 fans with race cars, driver autographs, food, FMX entertainment, and the Hill Climb Hero Beer Garden.

GAINING TRACTION


PPIHC and Kumho Tire announced the Gaining Traction Program to support promising Colorado-based drivers with five years or fewer of competitive experience on Pikes Peak. The initiative will provide selected drivers with entry fee coverage, KUMHO tires, and development resources.

1956 Bobby Unser

This year marks 70 years since Bobby Unser won his first of TEN King of the Mountain titles. He set an overall course record at 14 minutes, 27 seconds driving the iconic Jerry Unser Special open wheel.

The Pikes Peak Hill Climb Historical Association welcomes those who have an interest in motorsports. Whether it's meeting for the monthly lunch meeting, joining the group for our annual reunion, visiting museums, identifying photos, researching race-related inquiries, or working to maintain and preserve the history of this iconic race, there's something for everyone.
