From the Desk of Our Executive Director
The next month or so ushers in one of my favorite times of the year for 4Cs: East Bay Gives and our Annual FREE Children's Faire. On May 4th, 4Cs of Alameda County is participating in East Bay Gives for the 4th year. Organized by the East Bay Community Foundation, East Bay Gives is a local day of giving and supporting nonprofits in our community. 4Cs of Alameda County is a unique nonprofit organization in that we are funded through public (national, state, and local) dollars, foundations, and individual donors. With the volatile state of public funds, today, more than ever, we are counting on you to help us to continue to provide free services our most underserved and vulnerable community members. Whether you have $20 or $20,000 to give to 4Cs, mark your calendar for May 4, 2017 and visit  https://www.eastbaygives.org/4CsofAlamedaCounty on that day to donate to 4Cs of Alameda County - we, and the families, child care providers, and children we serve, thank you!
Less than 2 weeks after East Bay Gives, 4Cs hosts our 15th Annual FREE Children's Faire. While you have your calendars handy, pencil in 10am-1pm on Saturday, May 20th for a day full of fun with your whole family at our main office in Hayward. You can read more about the Faire below. Be sure to stop by the welcome table when you arrive and say hello - I look forward to seeing you there!
