The Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum welcomed Ringo Starr and exclusive press to cut the red ribbon of our brand-new BEATS AND THREADS exhibit, sponsored by JULIEN*S.

The exhibit showcases the Shea Stadium drumkit, personal documents, and incredible fashion pieces.

The drum kit on display was used on the Beatles first Shea Stadium concert which took place on August 15, 1965. Ringo is particularly fond of this kit, calling it the Shea kit.

The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum is a 501@ (3) charity organization. The mission of the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum is to honor all great musicians regardless of genre or instruments. This is done by exhibiting the actual instrument they used to record some of the most iconic songs in recorded history. Not only does the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum entertain local and international visitors but also educates them about the musicians who actually played on the sound tracks of their lives.
