GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA SCOUTING CAMPS
Outdoor activities are integral to meeting Scouts and their family’s needs while also providing many of the most appealing features of the Scouting program. Activities and events are planned to match the desires of Scouts at all age levels and abilities with opportunities to advance in rank and have fun.
We take a high-level view of the exciting programs that Greater LA Scouting camps have to offer. We hope you are ready to take advantage of our new and improved programs and upcoming opportunities.
Our camping experience allows Scouts to meet others their age, participate in high adventure activities, earn Merit Badges, and experience activities they may have never done before. These Scouts will stay in their troop campsites, eat, and participate in most troop programs and camp activities.

WELCOME TO ADULT RESOURCES | Adult role models in Scouting provide an ideal learning experience for all youth. Every adult volunteer has something valuable to offer. Scouting is a youth-led, youth-run program, but the youth must be trained to be leaders. The advantages of Scouting are not limited to youth. Adults also develop leadership and physical skills with every training experience. Explore the resources available for you to become the best Scout Leader you can be. You'll also find the tools to help you grow your unit for future Scouts. |

There are many ways to contribute to Scouting including Employer match, FOS, Endowments and Tributes. With your continued support, you insure that Scouts become outstanding citizens. Scouting teaches children and youths to be proud of their community, and to become strong leaders by overcoming obstacles and gaining confidence in learning to do it themselves. Scouting is scout-led so young men and women take it upon themselves to learn and grown with the guidance of our many generous volunteers.
Whether it’s a monetary donation, or a non-monetary donation, we make sure your resources are well spent. Endowments, tributes and memorial gifts are typically larger donation that provide resources that help our Council run our programs for another year. We are always grateful for such generosity and try to include any tributes in special events and dinners to show our appreciation. Sometimes we have needs that span monetary needs.
Business owners can provide services at a discount, venues can lend us some time for an advancement or Board meeting, or maybe you know someone who has something from their early scouting years that might be considered priceless in the right hands.
