Even the "Cook" makes great images on
the Highway 12 Road Trip Photography Workshop.
Greetings everyone. I’ve been the cook for the HWY 12 Workshop since 2009. 5 years ago Howard gifted me with his old Canon Mark 5 camera with the admonition “now you’ve got a camera & you can learn to take some good photos.” Since then I wore out that camera (it was 20 years old) and have acquired a newer Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I am working at my own pace and learning more and more about the camera and increasing my skill making photographs.
The HWY 12 Workshop is a unique experience for anyone interested in photography. Taking place on the plateau “Coteau des Prairie" of eastern SD in the ghost town of Lily . There are lots of different photo opportunities to explore. The workshop is open to: beginner, novice, amateur & professional. Howard and mentor photographers are there to share their knowledge and encourage the participants to explore new ideas and broaden their experiences making photos.
