Missio has been working hard to make the start to this term as smooth as possible for our students, even though we’re once again having to hold classes online due to COVID-19. We welcomed new students in a virtual orientation on Saturday, August 22 and also provided them with a re-vamped self-paced orientation on our learning management system, eCampus. During the virtual orientation students were also provided with an opportunity to interact with classmates in their respective programs, providing a first chance to foster the kind of missional community the seminary is known for. As the Registrar, I’m excited to help foster that community among our students and faculty by providing weekly communication via email and eCampus as well as assisting students with their academic needs and questions as they progress toward their degrees. I’m also thrilled to have our new assistant registrar, Colleen Willenbring, on board to assist with that process. We’re here, and happy to serve!
