Over the last couple of decades, my journey into the theory of complex organizational systems has evolved far beyond its original scope. Initially published as a trilogy on fractals by SAGE between 2009 and 2015, this work offered a primarily non-mathematical view of behavioral systems across individuals, teams, and up to and including civilizations. But in 2015, I felt compelled to formalize a mathematical foundation for this systems-based perspective—an effort that revealed deep patterns extending not only through organizational life but also into biological, chemical, and physical domains.


This realization gave rise to the Cosmology of Light series—a ten-volume exploration (2017–2020) that first built the mathematics of fractal systems and then extended into areas like quantum computation, AI, genetics, and transhumanism. At its core, the series suggests that quantum computation is not merely a technological endeavor but a continuous, creative process embedded in nature, where the non-material becomes material through a persistent quantum unfolding.


Hence, I am thrilled with the release of Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology, where I align this cosmological framework with contemporary quantum science. The book introduces new mathematical logics, hardware architectures, and computational models that challenge the boundaries of current quantum thinking. This work aims to establish a new genre of quantum technology, grounded in a systems-based vision of coherence, emergence, and transformation.

The Future of Quantum Computing


The book proposes that, beyond current industry trajectories, the future of quantum computing also lies in exploring fundamentally new possibilities grounded in a systems view—one that frames the quantum level as an integral part of multiple layers of matter and life, rather than treating it in isolation. The book is structured into six parts to support this perspective.


Part I suggests that our understanding of the basic principles of quantum mechanics in incomplete, by taking a fresh look at the double-slit experiment, exploring a quaternary fractal pattern in matter and life, and introducing a baseline mathematics for understanding quantum dynamics differently. This section challenges the conventional probabilistic view of the quantum realm, proposing an approach of qualified determinism that could better align with the observed order in nature. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 1: Surfacing a W(L) Approach to Quantum Computation
  • Chapter 2: The Origins of a Fourfold Pattern
  • Chapter 3: Mapping the Fourfold Pattern to Quantum Space
  • Chapter 4: The Mathematics of Qualified Determinism 



Part II delves into reinterpretations of some anchors foundational to quantum mechanics, offering enhanced perspectives on Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, Schrödinger’s Wave Equation, Quanta, and Euler’s Identity. This section aims to build upon the theoretical and mathematical groundwork laid in the first part, suggesting that reinterpretations of foundational anchors will allow a more comprehensive (W(L)) understanding of the quantum realm’s possibilities. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 5: Uncertainty Principle and Loss of Information
  • Chapter 6: Quanta and Quantum Object Code
  • Chapter 7: Schrodinger’s Equation and Evolution of Quantum Systems
  • Chapter 8: Reimagining Euler’s Endless Wave 


Part III establishes an alternative framework for understanding quantum dynamics— the Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD). QIQD leverages discussions through the book, tying these together in considering a simulation of a simple hypothetical atom. It also introduces the notion of ‘quantum certainty’ suggesting a key mechanism in changing the nature of computation. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 9: Simulation of Space, Time and Probabilities
  • Chapter 10: Simulation of a Hypothetical Simple Atom
  • Chapter 11: Quantum Certainty
  • Chapter 12: Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD) 


Part-IV leverages key aspects of QIQD to illustrate how this is responsible for the architectures of the different layers of reality from the electromagnetic spectrum through to macromolecules in cells. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 13: QIQD Dynamics at the Level of the Electromagnetic Spectrum
  • Chapter 14: QIQD Dynamics at the Level of Quantum Particles
  • Chapter 15: QIQD Dynamics at the Level of Atoms
  • Chapter 16: QIQD Dynamics at the Level of Macromolecules in Cells


Part V begins to lay out the philosophy of a QIQD-based quantum architecture in terms of the kinds of gates, the kind of mathematics, the kind of logic, and the QIQD algorithms required to make such a quantum computer a reality. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 17: Key Quantum Computing Principles in QIQD
  • Chapter 18: Envisioning Generators and Qibits
  • Chapter 19: Envisioning Other QIQD Hardware
  • Chapter 20: QIQD Algorithms 


Part VI explores the practical implications of QIQD, suggesting new technologies that could arise from this enhanced understanding of quantum dynamics. This part intro-duces the detection of a quantum-based source of energy, the detection of emerging new structure whether at the physical, chemical, or biological levels, and a QIQD nano-based device that can that operate based on such sensing and detection. The part concludes by conceptually integrating QIQD-based quantum dynamics with the structure of spacetime as envisioned by Einstein’s Field Equations, opening the door too, to QIQD-based technologies that move far beyond anything we have imagined. Chapters include:

  • Chapter 21: Detection of Organizing Quantum Energy
  • Chapter 22: Sensing Emergence of New Structure
  • Chapter 23: A QIQD Nano-based Device
  • Chapter 24: Unifying Quantum Seeds and Spacetime

QIQD Keynote at ICTIS Conference at Cornell University

I had the privilege of addressing the global audience gathered at the 10th International Conference on ICT for Intelligent Systems (ICTIS 2025) held at NYC-ILR Conference Center, Cornell University. My keynote dove into key aspects of my interpretation of quantum dynamics - Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD) - that is central to Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology.
