Pastor's Message

Dear Friends in Faith,

In one sense, Christmas is about children. We start with a focus on a child who is born for us, the promised One of God. Children also give us an important perspective on Christmas, in their hopes and excitement, in their willingness to believe. We see the joy in children at the holiday and it touches us.

This Sunday we see “Christmas Through the Eyes of A Child” as our young people share a delightful pageant with us in the 9:30 am worship service. I invite you to come hear again the story of Jesus’ birth from a fresh perspective, and receive...

Deliver Hope this Christmas
As we talk about speaking hope, we are also sending hope into the world through our Christmas Missions Offering. Use the GIVE NOW orange button on the website to donate to UMOM, the Wesley Community Center and the PVUMC Emergency Relief Fund, or use the envelope in the pew pocket.

God's story of Jesus, whose birth we celebrate on Christmas Day, is a story of poor parents, who needed a place to stay, and who only attracted the notice of a group of poor shepherds working the night shift. Yet, when Jesus grew up, he changed the world. How's that for hope?
