Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

Think of the changes you have had to make in your life. Maybe you’ve had to change your career goals or had a change of relationships. Maybe health issues had a major impact on you. Maybe you truly mastered a new subject or discipline at school, or changed direction, following a passion or interest. Maybe you made a very deliberate decision to change something in your work life, or a habit, or you looked more deeply within and decided to change something about yourself.

And think too of the people you have helped to change. Maybe you worked with a child who needed your coaching to be able to read. Maybe your patient love and listening helped someone overcome their fears or anxiety. Maybe you coached kids so they could gain some athletic or teamwork skills. God works powerfully in our experience of change, helping us to become faithful disciples who live and share the love of Jesus Christ with the world. We help to imprint the image of Christ on to people’s lives and our world....

Paradise Perk and Serendipities
Our on-site coffee shop, the Paradise Perk, is open nearly every Sunday morning, 9 am-1 pm. A 16-oz cup of fresh-brewed coffee from the self-serve cart only costs $2, and specialty drinks just a bit more. The Perk also offers a wide variety of espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, and soda. All proceeds support youth missions and make the life-changing trips we offer affordable for our church families and students. In 2018, the senior high youth go on a mission trip to Houston, to help clean up after Hurricane Harvey. Ask Christopher Wurpts about how you can be a part of it even if you aren't a member of the youth group.

The church gift shop, Serendipities, is also open Sunday mornings, 9-11 am, and on Wednesdays, 9 am-12 noon. Purchases support local missions.

NOTE: Childcare is availa ble with a 48-hour reservation for all our
events and classes on campus. Call 602.840.8360, ext 134.
