Paradise Valley United Methodist Church
Pentecost Sunday
We invite you to celebrate Pentecost with us this Sunday in worship at 9:30 am in the sanctuary, or 8 or 11 am in the chapel. Pentecost invites the Holy Spirit to ignite our faith, transform lives and create community. Our Mission says we are "Alive with the Spirit."  Pray that will will be renewed with God's Holy Spirit.
Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

Sometimes our plate is just too full. We’re juggling too much. Or running too hard. How do you decide on your priorities and where you will give attention?
There’s a short story in the book of Exodus about Moses, after leading the escape from slavery in Egypt. The Hebrews are wandering in the wilderness. Every day, people bring their complaints and disputes to Moses and he sits as a judge and mediator to sort things out. Soon, he is overwhelmed. Fortunately, his father-in-law, Jethro, shows up. Moses seems to enjoy a good relationship with Jethro and listens attentively to his counsel, which turns out to be a life-saver...

Children are our Future. Help Lead them this Summer at Sunday Camp.
Beginning June 4, and continuing through August 13, PVUMC offers weekly summer Sunday classes for preschoolers-4th graders. It's a more relaxed time of year, and we encourage our regular teachers to take a well-deserved break while encouraging others who love children and want to share their faith with children to help lead during the summer. Please check your schedule and sign up by emailing Rev. Brenda Smith. Just once or twice will help a lot, and you'll be working with others as a team.

Worship at PVUMC
Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC) has 3 services on Sunday.
Dowload the bulletins for 8 and 9:30:

It's also Gun Violence Awareness Sunday, and you're invited to wear orange to show your support. Read More.
