Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

Pastor Eric Elnes, author of Gifts of the Dark Wood, asks, “If you knew that today was the last day of your life, what would you say has been the significance of your life?” For some, that is an energizing question. For others, it is a question for defeatists.

For all of us, though, it is a crucial question to consider through the lens of Jesus’ admonition, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?”

We spend so much time trying to fill our lives with the things...

Church Council Approves Invitational Statement
The Church Council recently approved an invitational statement recommended by the Reconciling Ministry Team, authored by three members of the adult learning team and edited by the marketing and communications director. It appears on our Welcome page and moves us closer to our vision to have a "love that crosses all barriers and embraces all people."
