πŸ“΅ Cell Phone-Free Learning is Fully Funded Thanks to PCEF Donors

β€Š
β€Š
β€Š

Starting this school year, all Park City School District students in grades 6–12 will be required to secure their cell phones in a Yondr pouch during the school day at Ecker Hill Middle School and Park City High School. Thanks to donor support, PCEF raised $60,000 to fully fund the expansion at Ecker and PCHS after a successful pilot program at TMJH last year.

Senate Bill 178, effective July 1, 2025, bans cell phones and smartwatches in classrooms unless a school district provides specific exemptions. The goal is to minimize distractions and support a safe, focused learning environment, according to district officials.
