ADVOCACY, IMPACT AND SHOWING UP

It's day two of our sixth annual Ag Celebration Week on March 17, 2026, proudly presented by Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative.

This week of digital content is offered via our website, BillingsChamber.com, social media pages: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and daily e-blasts (like the one you're reading now).

SHOW UP. STEP IN. MAKE IT COUNT

In this Ag Celebration Week blog, Ag Committee Chair Alex Schimke makes the case for getting involved—proving that even an hour a month can spark connections, amplify your impact, and help move your passion forward.

ORGANIZATION SPOTLIGHT

The US Cattlemen's Association has been serving as the voice of cow-calf producers, feedlot operators, backgrounders,

and livestock haulers in Washington, DC since 2007. It serves as a powerful grassroots voice for cattle producers by advocating in Washington, D.C. for fair markets, transparent labeling, and policies that strengthen profitability, protect the domestic herd, and ultimately support the economic vitality of communities like Billings that depend on a strong ag industry.
